Nekio is self-hosted: the website and its database run on infrastructure administered directly by the publisher, with no third-party hosting provider involved.
Nekio is a free anime streaming and tracking platform. The catalog covers series, films, OVA/ONA and special episodes. Where the source provides it, available audio versions are shown honestly — VF, VOSTFR, VO, MULTI-VF, or “Unknown” when the version cannot be identified.
Anime metadata (titles, posters, banners, descriptions, genres) is provided by TMDB (The Movie Database, themoviedb.org) under their terms of use, and episode metadata comes from the integrated providers.
Video streams are supplied by third-party sources and embedded in the Nekio player. Nekio does not host, store, own, or distribute any video content — and never stores content images locally.
The Nekio name, logo, and original design belong to their respective creators. Anime titles, artwork, and related media belong to their original studios and rights holders. No ownership is claimed over third-party intellectual property displayed through the platform.

Nekio is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Redistributing, scraping, or commercially exploiting any content through the platform is prohibited. Community rules applying to reviews and comments are described in the Terms.
The data collected, why, and your rights — including the GDPR rights of EU users — are detailed on the Privacy Policy page (/confidentialite). In short: registration asks only for a username, an email address and a password; no advertising, no tracking; data is stored on the publisher's own infrastructure.
